Our heartbeats create an electro-magnetic field. This field both surrounds us and is in us and resonates at different frequencies in our chakras - our body's energy centers. The "qualities" of our field as expressed in the chakras have a profound impact on our health, thoughts and emotions, and spiritual well-being. Often, chakras get "influenced" by traumas and life events - a trauma being any situation, at any age, that our energetic system can not deal with and integrate, at the time.

Depending upon where in the body the trauma is felt and stored, the corresponding chakra is impacted and our energy field gets out of alignment. Due to this non-integrated trauma, dysfunctional beliefs, patterns of behavior and coping mechanisms arise that impact how we then move through life. Common impacts may be negative thought patterns, feelings of confusion and low self-esteem, deep fatigue, physical pain, lack of drive and initiative, hopelessness and depression, low and excessive libido, and damaging behaviors such as addiction. Without intervention, disease may arise.

During a chakra healing session, I focus my treatment on all seven major energy centers, particularly focusing on the centers that "speak" to me, helping you to release blockages, strengthen and balance core aspects of your being and increase your vitality. Our bodies and spirits have a tremendous capacity for healing. My intention for each session is to guide clients to tap into the universal life force pulsating within and without our beings, helping clients to experience enhanced health and well-being. Clients often experience a profound shift in energy, both during and after a treatment. Chakra energy work helps to heal what is ready to be healed and supports you towards a place of balance, health and wholeness.
